The Indigenous Continuing Care Policy Forum (ICCPF) is a volunteer-run, collaborative committee of individuals, clinicians, planners, and policy makers from government and public health care institutions with the goal of highlighting and rectifying systemic barriers and inequities for First Nations people.

Working in close collaboration with NATIONAL Public Relations, we were given the opportunity to bring a visual identity to life for ICCPF. At its core we needed to highlight the importance community and connection play—and that equitable wholistic healthcare is required for all Indigenous (L'nu) people living in Nova Scotia.
In collaborating with the ICCPF, we knew that this identity needed to feel organic, professional, warm, and hopeful. The final logo and further identity design work cleanly incorporates all of these elements, providing a tone of innate connection and inclusivity.

Pairing a friendly, accessible typeface [right] with a more natural, dynamic braided circle [left], further helps to unify the goals of the ICCPF—to be culturally informed and representative while still being recognizable for all audiences who will interact with it.
