Finalist submission to the 2018 Ice Awards Young Creative Competition. Created in partnership with fellow designer Zach Gallant, we were tasked with crafting an out of home advertisement for the Nova Scotia SPCA to drive awareness of the importance of adoption and to increase adoption rates specifically for their cats.
The concept 'Lease to own' centred around parodying traditional car advertisements. By mimicking photography style, typography, and graphic elements, the ads subverted what an adoption ad looks like. Our intention to photograph currently available cats and include their real photo and name was integral to the overall concept.
